The Divas in Defense and the Los Angeles Sparks teamed up to teach young girls how to defend themselves from predators. This past weekend, Cole Parker, the founder and CEO of Divas in Defense, taught a self-defense class for women and girls in the community. Parker says the benefits of Divas in Defense are multifaceted, they empower women and girls, and help build their self-esteem and confidence.
