Brandon Rainey’s ‘Love Game’ Explores Love and Its Complexities

Presented by CBG Arts & White Hall Arts Academy, on Saturday, April 13th, guests filled the Hudson Theatre Coffee Shop in Hollywood to enjoy writer and director Brandon Rainey’s (B Rainey Productions) latest production, Love Game. This urban stage play was written by Rainey, production managed by Howard University Alumni Jonathan Lucas, and featured a very talented cast.

‘Why We Sing’ Musical Returns to the Stage after 10 years at The Miracle Theatre

On Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4, the 2013 musical, “Why We Sing” (Presented by CBG Arts & SWESH in association with Kirk Franklin & 102.3 KJLH) was brought back to the stage at the Miracle Theatre in Inglewood, California. To celebrate writer and director, Brandon Rainey’s birthday and 20-year anniversary since his first main stage show, new faces and returning faces graced the stage to bring new villains, new plot twists, and new music after 10 years.

The Pullum Center Pulls for Our Youth with a Rendition of the Musical, “FROZEN”

On Friday, December 11th, Audubon Middle School’s auditorium was filled with excited faces for the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center’s production of Frozen.

Directed by Brandon Rainey, the fantasy musical tells the story of a princess who goes on a voyage to reverse her sister’s magic powers that cursed the kingdom to eternal winter. Featuring a K through 6th grade cast, the show included adorable performances of the well-known songs, “Let It Go,” and, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”
