If you love to laugh (and, I do) then you are already a fan of HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show” created by Robin Thede. The L.A. Sentinel recently spoke with the show’s award-winning editors – Stephanie Filo, Taylor Mason, Bradinn French, and Robyn Wilson.
Here is what the very funny, quick-witted and I think, uber-sweet Skye Townsend had to share about being a part of HBO’s “Black Lady Sketch Show.”
I am thankful and excited that such a strong, creative, opinionated, dedicated and utterly focused woman of color is shaking it up, doing her thing and getting paid, television money (i.e. stupid money) in her new late-night talk show.
