Press Conference For A Youth Development Department

Advancement Project California, a civil rights organization that champions greater equity and opportunity for all Californians, along with Legacy LA, Big Citizens Hub, and Self-Help Graphics & Art, will host a press conference on Wednesday, January 17, 9AM-10AM, at Self Help Graphics and Art located at 1300 E 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90033, to unveil their Blueprint for Youth Development – Los Angeles report. This report provides a geographic analysis of the highest need youth in Los Angeles, an evaluation of the city’s youth development spending in FY 2017-18, comparisons to youth development funding and strategies in other major cities, and recommendations to address gaps in funding and services.
