The men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.’s ‘Massive and Progressive 12th District’ will converge on Long Beach for their 73rd Annual District Meeting along with families, international Omega dignitaries, community dignitaries and friends of Omega at the fabulous Westin Hotel on Ocean Boulevard in downtown Long Beach. Over 700 participants are expected to participate.  

“Building The Bond of Friendship Through Social and Economic Empowerment” is the meeting theme. In addition to conducting the business of Omega, the meeting theme will be supported by a variety of community service, business and social activities, some of which will be open to the public. A few of the activities are: Career Fair; Talent Hunt; Just Hall STEM program; Youth Leadership Conference (YLC); Spiritual Revival & Bible Study; Golf Tournament; Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI); Q-Orleans Extravaganza; black-tie Founders banquet; hospitality suites; the always exciting step show, and much more.

First and foremost, Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc. is a service organization. The 73rd Annual 12th District Meeting will highlight and demonstrate the focus on community service through the following programs:
 

Career Fair – Will match job seekers with local and national employers.
Talent Hunt – Is a culmination of regional competitions across the west coast highlighting talented high school students in the performing arts.  

Just Hall STEM Program – A learning experience, demonstration and competition among young people in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) led by professionals and mentors with expertise in those disciplines.
Undergraduate Luncheon – This annual favorite is led by, and recognizes, undergraduate members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. with scholarship awards.  

Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) – Now in its 24th year, YLC brings together young men and mentors to discuss many topics including the value of education, a healthy lifestyle, respecting women, personal responsibility and several other life skill building topics.
