MOB Beauty launched with a clear understanding of the need for inclusivity in makeup shade ranges. One of the brand’s guiding principles is “earth first,” and with that in mind, they developed refillable packaging, committed to the idea that if a sustainable solution isn’t available for a product, they simply won’t bring it to market.
While looking and feeling your best has value, the company believes that consumers shouldn’t have to purchase packaging more than once. It’s not just a bad deal for the planet—it’s a bad deal for you.
Their Earth-First packaging system is designed to be endlessly reusable and refillable, reducing waste by cutting down on consumption.
MOB has taken care to choose materials based on their environmental impact. All packaging is made from PET and PP resin, the easiest plastics to recycle, with at least 50 percent post-consumer recycled content. This means they’re repurposing materials that already exist in the waste stream. The process of using post-consumer recycled materials is more expensive and challenging, as many of their suppliers were unfamiliar with working with these materials.

Still, MOB refused to settle. They pushed their partners to meet these standards and are encouraged by the progress made so far. Their goal is to reach 100 percent post-consumer recycled content in all packaging. They’re working toward it and will keep their customers updated on the journey.
Influencers worldwide are buzzing about MOB Beauty products, with standout favorites like the Cake Liner in seven bold shades. The Blurring Ceramide Crème Foundation and Blurring Loose Setting Powder have quickly become essentials. For the eyes, MOB offers 32 talc-free, buttery smooth shades that blend effortlessly with rich pigments and no fallout. These long-wearing, clean, and vegan eyeshadows are also infused with skincare ingredients and antioxidants to nourish and protect the skin. Plus, the eyeshadows can be easily popped out of their biodegradable compacts and placed into any MOB palette for convenience.
For lips, MOB’s Smooth Precision Waterproof Lip Liners, available in three stunning shades—M1990 Cool Tone Natural, M147 Chocolate Port, and M1990 Cool Tone Neutral—stand out for their creamy texture, rich pigmentation, and impressive staying power. These lip liners are waterproof, transfer-proof, and resistant to feathering or bleeding, ensuring all-day wear. The formula is 100% silicone-free, plastic-free, and made from natural ingredients like carnauba and candelilla waxes, as well as antioxidants, offering comfortable, non-drying wear while nourishing and conditioning the lips.
Here’s how to recycle MOB products.
Recycle the outer packaging in your home bin or remove and recycle the label and home compost the package separately.
Recycle shipping boxes and packing paper in your home bin.
Separate the paper and aluminum pan on your MOB Minis. Recycle the paper packaging in your home bin, and while the aluminum pan is 100% recyclable, check with your local facility about how to best recycle them due to their small size.
Refills are too small to be recycled at home because they are smaller than a yogurt cup, so drop your empty and cleaned MOB refills into a Pact recycling bin inside any Credo store in the US or Hudson’s Bay store in Canada. Find locations here or use our new Pact mail back recycling program if you don’t have access to a Pact bin.
