Business Interruption Fund (BIF) Informational Workshop
Metro is hosting the next BIF informational workshop along the Crenshaw/LAX corridor on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Crenshaw Yoga and Dance located at 5426 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90043. Hosted in partnership with the Metro Business Solution Center (BSC), small business owners are invited to attend to learn more about how to apply to Metro’s BIF, receive tips for preparing an application and receive information about business resources. Metro’s BIF provides financial assistance to “mom and pop” businesses directly impacted by transit rail construction along the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Phase 1 of the Purple Line Extension and the Little Tokyo area and 2nd/Broadway segment of the Regional Connector.

Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project Business Solution Center (BSC) is here to support your business. The BSC provides small business owners with direct hands-on assistance including access to business resources, programs, educational classes and workshops. CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

Park Mesa Guideway – Street Reconfiguration 46th St to 59th St
As part of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro’s contractor, Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will implement a new street configuration in Park Mesa beginning at 9am on Friday, February 3, 2017 through 6am Monday, February 6, 2017. The new street configuration will allow for the safe construction of the light rail guideway and will remain in place until 2019. No Parking will be allowed on Crenshaw Bl between 46th St and 59th St during the implementation of this new configuration. Vehicles parked in no parking areas will be towed.

What To Expect
• New traffic signals will be installed at 48th St, 50th St, 52nd St and 54th St.
• Lane closures; with a minimum of one lane of access for both northbound and southbound traffic on Crenshaw Bl at all times during the implementation
• After the new street configuration is in place, two through lanes will be maintained on Crenshaw Bl.
