Eddie Levert will take the stage at the legendary Maverick’s Flat on Crenshaw Blvd. April 24.

Eddie Levert was a founding member of the hit recording group The O’Jays, who epitomized the Philly sound. The group was responsible for such hits as “Love Train,” “Stairway To Heaven, “Backstabbers,” “Money, Money, Money and “Usta Be My Girl.”

He’s now performing as a solo artist, releasing is debut “Eddie Levert: I Still Have It” in 2012. He still tours the world with the O’Jays, however, while also lending his voice to Gladys Knight’s tour. He performs with Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat as the “Levert” in LSG. Presently, receiving rave reviews, are two singles “Did I Make You Go Ooh” and “Shit Starter” from his sophomore CD album “Did I Make You Go Ooh” released in early 2016.

Levert’s acting credits include, “The Fighting Temptations”, “Meet The Browns” and “New York Undercover”. He was profiled three times on “Unsung,” and has performed on numerous award shows and talk shows such as The View and Jimmy Kimmel.
