LAPD Vehicle Involved in Crash in Downtown L.A.; Four Injured

A traffic crash involving a Los Angeles police vehicle in downtown Los Angeles today left four people injured, one seriously, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 10:50 a.m. at Fifth and Los Angeles streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Two officers were taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, the LAPD reported.  According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, one person suffered serious injuries and three suffered minor injuries. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
