Big loss for the City of L.A. as Deputy Scott transitions to new role in San Francisco
Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief William Scott has been named the new San Francisco police chief, officials have confirmed.
Scott is a 25-year veteran of the LAPD and heads the department’s 1,700-member South Bureau.
