Child Star Also Tapped To Guest Star on CBS-TV’S The Mentalist
Kwesi Boakye has nabbed a huge guest-starring role on the CBS Hit TV Series, Hawaii Five-O, playing the character of Kevin Cole, son of Hip-Hop mogul turned actor, Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs who will portray his father Reggie Cole.
Hawaii Five-O marks P-Diddy’s first television role. The segment is scheduled to air Tuesday, April 18, 2011.While the adorable Kwesi, who is on the fast-track to international super stardom, has amassed an impressive body of both television and film work to include prominent roles on top-rated television shows “Hawthorne”, “Southland”, “Strong Medicine”, “The Shield”, “Day Break”, “Days Of Our Lives”, and “Men Of A Certain Age” as well as starring roles in blockbuster films such as Disney’s “The Princess And The Frog” and Tyler Perry’s #1 box office hit “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”.
Although just 11 years of age, the immensely talented Kwesi is being touted as Hollywood’s next breakout superstar having ended 2010 with a bang starring in the highly anticipated film “Fire Bird” that also stars Lynn Collins and Michael Early. Tinsel town’s newest “it” child star, Kwesi, is slated to play another hip-hop mogul’s son in the upcoming movie “Lives Of The Saints”, starring multi platinum rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Golden Globe Award nominee Meg Ryan and Emmy Award winner John Lithgow.
