KJLH will kick off their Women’s Health Expo with a panel discussion live on the radio in Concourse Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center on April 23.

The panel will be a discussion about several health problems affecting African American women. Wellness experts from AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Cedar Sinai, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, KJLH’s Adai Lamar and LeaVell Degree of The Whispers.

KJLH will also give away a trip to the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards to attendees that visit the health discussion.

The weekend will also have mammogram screenings for women, a holistic Wellness Café Panel hosted by Dominique DiPrima, healthy dishes showcase where ladies will learn how to cook healthier with Chef J.R. Robinson and Adai Lamar, natural hair panels with Kimberly Elise and Tanika Ray and a Radio Free “Wind Down”.

Artists Kenny Lattimore, Eddie LeVert, Eric Benet and comedians Ron G & Michael Coylar will all be at the “Wind Down” at 3 p.m. in Concourse Hall.

All KJLH events will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday April 23rd at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
