Khrissy’s journey is rooted in experience. She knows firsthand what it’s like to navigate an industry without the necessary resources or connections. That’s why she created Music N Media LA, a platform designed to bridge the gap for aspiring professionals.
“So many people don’t have access to the tools they need to break into this industry,” Khrissy explains.

“I wanted to create a space where they could come and learn directly from notable industry professionals. This event is bigger than me. The impact it has is what keeps me inspired.”

“I have a lot of great, authentic relationships with people in the industry,” Khrissy says. “Over the years, I’ve built trust, and that’s why they support my vision. These are people who genuinely want to share their stories and help the next generation succeed.”
Beyond Music N Media, Khrissy continues to make waves in the industry. Recently, she announced her new role as West Coast correspondent and editor for Sway’s Universe, a major platform in hip-hop and entertainment journalism.
“I saw a small void in telling West Coast stories,” she shares.
“When I first started working with Sway’s Universe, it felt like a natural fit. I’ve been able to bring my knowledge of the culture and my city to the table, and the opportunity has been amazing.”
Khrissy’s journey with Sway’s team started through her work with Gina Views, where she helped produce the GinaVerse Cyphers. Recognizing her work ethic and deep cultural understanding, the Sway’s Universe team entrusted her with expanding their West Coast coverage. Now, as she gears up for a busy summer of media coverage, Khrissy is ready to take her storytelling to new heights.
At the core of Khrissy’s work is an unwavering commitment to community, inclusivity, and authenticity. For her, success isn’t just about personal achievement—it’s about lifting others up along the way.
“Nobody is bigger than the program,” she says.
“I treat the janitor and the CEO the same. On my platform, we are all equal. This is a safe space where anyone can walk up, connect, and learn. I’m for all people, and I protect that at all costs.”
She also emphasizes the importance of pivoting and listening to one’s inner voice. While she has spent years helping others build their brands, she is now prioritizing her own.
“I’ve learned to take the time to be still and listen to God,” she says.
“I know what’s right for me, and I’ve embraced the power of pivoting when necessary. Right now, my focus is on branding and putting myself first.”
