Apostle Ronald C. Hill, Sr., and the Kingdom Harvest Christian Alliance will sponsor Holy Convocation 2013 beginning Tuesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 23, at Love and Unity Christian Fellowship, 1840 South Wilmington Avenue in Compton.
“We are excited to present our second Holy Convocation, ‘Releasing the Kingdom of God by Faith,’ with the scripture reference of 1 Corinthians 4:20 and 2:4-5,” said Apostle Hill, Overseer of KHCA and pastor of Love and Unity.
“Our guest speakers and psalmists include Apostle John Eckhardt, Pastor Marvin Winans, Dr. Bill Winston, Bishop Anne Gimenez, Dr. Jim Reeves, Maurette Brown Clark, Kurt Karr Singer Vonnie Lopez, Kevin Henderson and Redefined, William Murphy, Daniel Johnson and Melonie Daniels,” he added.
On June 22, at 10 a.m., the Music and Worship Arts Ministry will present a workshop with Clinician Melonie Daniels and New Breed singer, Daniel Johnson. The $20 registration includes materials, sessions and lunch.
Also on Saturday, a Pastoral Luncheon is planned with guest speaker Dr. Reeves and his wife, Pastor Marguerite. Lunch will be held at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Carson, CA.
The youth and young adult gathering is set for Saturday at 6 p.m., in the Café@theBAC. The theme is ‘Scandal’ with artists Daniels, Johnson, and TRAXX. The program includes an open mic poetry session and talk show panel.
Holy Convocation 2013 culminates on June 23 at 4 p.m., with the Official Holy Day Service. Participants will be Sandy Beamon and the KHCA Mass Choir, Psalmist Daniels and sermon by Apostle Hill.
Also, weekly services will be held at 7 p.m., at Love and Unity, headquarters for Kingdom Harvest Christian Alliance, said a KHCA spokesperson.
