Percy (Master P) Miller announced, multi-talented, John Witherspoon will be back as Mr. Mimms in the much-anticipated sequel, “I Got The Hook-Up 2.” The film is scheduled to begin shooting this summer.
“We are extremely excited to have John back, he was so funny in the original film, it wouldn’t be the same without him in the sequel. We are looking forward to this project, we have new talent we are sure will bring great energy and laughs to the film,” Miller said. “In the original we discovered some amazing talent, we are anticipating the same in the sequel,” Miller continued.
John Witherspoon is most remembered for his roles in, Eddie Murphy’s “Boomerang” and his role as Willie Jones in the movie “Friday.”
