Students and parents learn about financial resources for college at Holman UMC’s seminar.

High school and community college students can learn about higher education financial resources at the “How To Pay For College” seminar at Holman United Methodist Church.

The free session, sponsored by Holman Community Development Corporation, will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m., in Holman’s L.L. White Hall, 3320 West Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles.  The Rev. Kelvin Sauls is the host pastor.

Attendees will learn about financial aid, scholarship applications and application websites, what parents should do, what students should do and pitfalls to avoid.
