The Annual Lay Day Worship Celebration is set for Sunday, June 9, at 10 a.m., at Ward A.M.E. Church, 1177 West 25th Street in Los Angeles.
DeVon Franklin, vice president of Productions for Columbia Pictures, will be the guest speaker and share his commitment to putting God first and letting Him guide his success.
“We invite the public to join us on this occasion. If you are struggling with putting God first, you will be inspired by Brother Franklin’s testimony and obtain an autographed copy of his book, ‘Produced by Faith,’” said Pastor Taurus Myhand, Sr.
The theme is ‘Moving From Christian Membership to Christian Discipleship.’ Also, graduates from kindergarten through postgraduate studies will be recognized and contestants in the Lay Christian Arts Festival will be honored.
