Now that I got your attention and before you scared to death negros get all up in a panic, I’m not talking about every European American living in this country.  I’m talking about those that we all know are vicious, vile and have a hatred and fear for other cultures, views, values and faith traditions that are outside of European standards and beliefs.

I think it’s time we stop playing word games by allowing European Americans to set the standard for just what an American is and what an American looks like. Think about it, it’s like when we talk about Christianity and Jesus Christ, here in America most people regardless of their culture, have a picture of Michelangelo’s cousin in mind – a European blonde-haired blue-eyed gentleman.

Hey, I got a good idea, if they want to remove Black history from books, can we start with the Bible. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters.”  Sounds like a brother to me.  What say you?

This so-called evangelical movement has nothing to do with Christ or Christianity. It has everything to do with European American standards and how we as believers should interpret the Bible. There’s no better time than now for us to set the record straight on so many issues.

Can we stop pretending that wearing a flag pin on your lapel makes or means that you are somehow a real true Blue American when we all know what they’re doing is tantamount to an animal urinating in a corner in an attempt to mark territory?

Let’s try and be honest, at least while you’re reading this op-ed.  The only real so-called Americans that I know of are the indigenous people of this land – Native Americans.

Can we stop acting like we are shocked at this sick behavior coming out of these people? Haven’t we seen the true face of America from the time our ancestors touched these shores in slave ships?  If you’re just honest with yourself, haven’t we all seen firsthand European Americans’ xenophobia and hatred towards anyone, everyone and everything that didn’t look like them or fit into their understanding of what they felt it meant to be human?

Can we be honest with one another?  All of this craziness were seeing today isn’t something new. European Americans have been causing chaos, directing craziness and injustice since they got here.

I see these dangerous and difficult days ahead as a call for us to unite and work together.  Let’s not allow ourselves to get caught up in white-on-white crime. Let’s work together to minimize the damage that they could do to our community and our people in the midst of their madness. As these European Americans savage one another in the media, let’s take this time to galvanize our love and support for one another, let them continue to perpetuate white-on-white crime while we generate Black-on-Black love and unity.

Here’s where I believe that we must stay focused.  There are several organizations and groups that are going to have different approaches in terms of how we deal with this craziness that’s going on.  I think what’s important for us to do is to pick the side, the group, and the organization(s) that we’re most comfortable working with and work with that group.

We don’t have to savage or talk negatively about other Black organizations and groups; what they are doing or not, you just stay in your lane and do what you need to do to support the efforts that make you most comfortable and let’s win as a people.

If you feel most comfortable participating in the buycott, do that. If you’re more comfortable participating in the boycott, then you do that.  I’m just asking that we all do something to support this beautiful Black movement.

When I look at all the chaos and craziness going on here in so-called America, I find myself smiling because it’s only a sign that the evil ones’ grip is slipping.  This craziness reminds me of a quote by Genghis Khan when he said, “I am the punishment of God. If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.”

I see the felon in chief as God’s punishment for all the wicked and ugly things that this nation has done to my people and other oppressed people all over the world!  Can the church say, Amen?
