Los Angeles City Clerk Holly L. Wolcott reminds voters that the November 6, 2018 General Election is just four days away. The City of Los Angeles has three (3) measures on LA County’s November ballot, which also includes County, State and Federal contests. All registered voters are encouraged to review their Sample Ballot and City’s Voter Information Pamphlet before going to vote.

Voters have multiple options to cast and submit their ballot. Prior to Election Day:

-Vote-By-Mail (VBM) voters can mail in their completed ballot, no postage necessary.

-Voters can Vote Early, in-person, the weekend before Election Day at selected sites. For locations and hours, go to https://lavote.net/home/voting-elections/voting-options/early-voting.

-Voters can drop off their completed Vote-By-Mail ballots at designated drop off locations. For locations and hours, go to https://lavote.net/home/voting-elections/voting-options/vote-by-mail/vbm-ballot-drop-off.

Voting on Election Day:

Polling place locations can be found on the back cover of the Sample Ballot or on the LA County website. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. VBM voters who have a VBM ballot, but don’t have time to mail it back in time, can drop off their VBM ballot at any polling place by 8:00 p.m., or at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s (LARR/CC), at 12400 Imperial Hwy., Norwalk, CA 90650, by the close of polls (8:00 p.m.) on Election Day, November 6, 2018. VBM ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted if received within three days.
