In a historic and momentous occasion, Dr. Donald R. Robinson, Senior Pastor of Community Baptist Church in Redlands, was officially installed as the President of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles & Southern California (BMCLA). The installation service, held at Southern Missionary Baptist Church, was a powerful gathering of faith leaders from across the nation, celebrating Dr. Robinson’s lifelong commitment to ministry and leadership.

Host Pastor and former BMCLA President, Pastor Xavier L. Thompson, presided over the service, paying tribute to his beloved spiritual father while ushering in this new era of leadership. The event’s keynote speaker, Dr. Tellis Chapman, Pastor of Galilee Baptist Church in Detroit and a recent presidential candidate for the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc., delivered a stirring sermon that underscored the importance of steadfast faith and visionary leadership in the church.

Dr. Williams captured the spirit of the evening, saying, “Dr. Robinson is a man of wisdom, faith, and endurance. He has stood the test of time, and his leadership will not only strengthen this conference but also fortify the next generation of preachers. We celebrate this moment because we know the BMCLA is in good hands.”
