Dr. Robinson’s election marks a new chapter in BMCLA’s storied history as he steps into leadership after serving faithfully in the last six presidential cabinets under the presidencies of Dr. P.J. Jones, Bishop L. Daniel Williams, Dr. Marvis Davis, Pastor Xavier L. Thompson, Dr. L.A. Kessee, and current president Pastor K.W. Tulloss.

A testament to his leadership and legacy, Dr. Robinson’s election was celebrated by the presence of all living past presidents of the BMCLA, who came in support of their president-elect. His leadership was further endorsed by state presidents Dr. J. Benjamin Hardwick (Western Baptist State Convention), Dr. E. Wayne Gaddis (California State Baptist Convention), and Dr. Ryan B. Small (Progressive Baptist State Convention), and national leaders Dr. R.A. Williams, Jr. (president, WHW Ministries) and Dr. Melvin V. Wade (former president, National Missionary Baptist Convention) underscoring his widespread respect and influence.

“Dr. Robinson’s genuine servant’s heart has equipped him for the office. He’s more than qualified,” said President Tulloss

Known as a resilient leader who has overcome personal and professional adversities, Dr. Robinson stands as a living testament to the power of faith and perseverance. Loved across generations, he has long inspired others with his wisdom and humility.

As he prepares to lead the BMCLA, many are confident in his ability to bring unity, strength, and vision to the conference. “Through faith in God, your story is never finished,” Dr. Robinson has often said — a message he embodies and will undoubtedly carry forward in this new chapter of his ministry.
