Max Muncy hit a three-run double in the fifth inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a commanding seven-run lead on its way to an 8-4 win, completing the three-game sweep over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium.
Los Angeles has now won their fourth in a row while sitting atop of the NL West with a four-game lead over the Diamondbacks and Padres.
Seattle has lost eight of nine games with the defeat, falling to 64-64 on the season.
The Dodgers had success against Mariners starter Logan Gilbert (7-10) as he gave up seven hits and six earned runs through 4 2/3 innings.

“You look at the length of our lineup, and what we did with those [Seattle] starters this series, it was a clinic,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said, as LA outscored Seattle 17-7 in three games. “That was one of our more impressive three-game series, as far as beating the starter.”
Dodgers starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (10-5) struck out five batters and walked one through 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned).
Los Angeles took a 2-1 lead after Mookie Betts drilled a two-run double into the left field corner with two outs in the third.
Teoscar Hernández advanced and stole a base in the fourth, before coming home to score on a sacrifice fly from Will Smith to take a 3-1 lead.
Shohei Ohtani kept momentum rolling for the Dodgers during a dominant five-run inning, starting a rally by picking up his 39th steal of the season, while advancing from first to third after a single.
With two outs in the fifth, Freddie Freeman hit an RBI double to centerfield, allowing Ohtani to score. Freeman then went on to score on a Hernández’s RBI single to take a 5-1 lead.
Muncy seemingly put the game away with a three-run double into the right-field corner to give Los Angeles an emphatic 8-1 lead.
“They have a really good pitching staff over there, arguably the best in baseball, and to be able to just get a couple good swings off felt really, really good,” Muncy said.
Seattle went on score runs in the sixth, eighth, and ninth inning but it only resulted in an 8-4 win for the Dodgers, who have won 10 of their last 13 games.
“It’s as deep of a lineup that you’re going to find… It’s fun to watch,” said Flaherty on the Dodgers’ offense.
