Celebrate Baldwin Hills Crenshaw’s 70th Anniversary With Us!
The CLC Community Engagement Workgroup invites you to visit Metro’s booth at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw’s 70th-anniversary celebration, with FREE performance by R&B singer Faith Evans, on Saturday, Sept 9th from 1pm to 5pm located at 3650 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008. Baldwin Hills Crenshaw is recognized as the oldest mall in the United States and is home to Metro’s future MLK Station. To celebrate, Metro Arts will be there presenting local musicians from Leimert Park to kickoff Faith Evans performance. The CLC Community Engagement Workgroup will be on-hand to giveaway free prizes and community info to concert attendees. EAT SHOP PLAY
Eat Shop Play Crenshaw and Inglewood is a marketing and community engagement campaign, free to local businesses intended to bring focused attention to businesses impacted by construction of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Projects. The goal of the campaign is to encourage consumers to eat at local restaurants, shop at local stores and play at local destinations within the project areas. You’re invited to attend the upcoming Eat Shop Play Lunch Meet Up at Los Ponchos located at 162 N La Brea Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301 on Wednesday, August 30th from 12-1:30pm to network with neighbors and get Metro updates, all while supporting a local #Inglewood business. How to Do Business with Metro Workshop
You are invited to attend the How to Do Business with Metro Workshop at Metro Headquarters located on 3rd Floor Board Room at One Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012. This two-hour orientation and business workshop is held on the second Tuesday of each month and provides firms with information on Metro’s certification program, vendor registration, contract look-ahead schedules and other useful information. Metro’s procurement staff conducts one-on-one interviews with firms during the workshop.

Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project Business Solution Center (BSC) is here to support your business. The BSC provides small business owners with direct hands-on assistance including access to business resources, programs, educational classes and workshops.
