Reek Havoc, a powerhouse collective of comedians, actors, and writers, is making its grand debut on Sunday, Feb. 23, at The Broadwater.
With a lineup of nine dynamic performers and a mission to blend stand-up, sketch, improv, and music, this comedy supergroup is ready to “wreak havoc” on the entertainment industry.
The group is led by Nick Alexander, Marquise Alston, and Camille Thomas, with a talented ensemble including Imani Haze, JaNarie Rhambo, Brick Jackson, Kenan J. Floyd, Bri Giger, and William Basham. They describe themselves as the Wu-Tang Clan of comedy, an all-Black full-service production company specializing in comedy.
“We’re not just a comedy group, we’re a supergroup,” says Nick Alexander.

“We can perform all types of comedy. Stand-up, sketch, improv, music, dance—we do it all. When you come to a Reek Havoc show, you’re getting everything in the same pot.”
Reek Havoc was born out of both love and loss. The group’s namesake is a tribute to Tariq “Brother Reek”’ Jackson, a beloved comedian, director, and writer who passed away. His spirit lives on in the group’s DNA.

“Reek was one of the most comedically timed people you’d ever meet,” says Marquise Alston. She describes his genius as a gift, able to turn even the most awkward silence into a punchline.
While they entertain, their debut show serves a greater purpose. Inspired by the recent California wildfires, the group felt compelled to give back to those affected.
“The wildfires shook us,” says Alston. “We had to evacuate in the middle of a meeting. Some of us left our homes not knowing if we’d come back to anything. That experience changed us.”
Determined to make a difference, Reek Havoc decided to donate proceeds from their debut show to Turquoise & Salt, a business in Altadena that has become a refuge for wildfire survivors.
“They opened their doors to those in need,” says Alexander. “So, we wanted help out.”
This one-night-only event promises a high-energy, no-holds-barred comedy experience.

Unlike traditional sketch shows like SNL or MADtv, Reek Havoc mixes multiple forms of comedy into a single performance.
“We’re not bringing in outside performers,” says Alexander. “Everything you see is us. It’s like a comedy festival packed into one night.”
Taking place in an intimate 50-seat black box theater, the show offers a close-up experience with the performers.
“We wanted to keep it small and build demand,” says Alexander. “That way, people will leave saying, ‘I gotta catch the next one.'”
Beyond the stage, Reek Havoc is gearing up for digital domination with a three-tier plan: live shows, short-form digital content, and long-form productions. With comedy, activism, and innovation at its core, Reek Havoc is ready to make its mark.
“This is just the beginning,” says Alexander. Reek Havoc is introducing a bold and dynamic new comedy experience, delivering fresh, high-energy performances that promise to leave a lasting impact.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show kicks off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available on Eventbrite at eventbrite.com/e/reek-havoc-a-comedy-benefit-show-tickets-1246339728679
