Upon founding Joshua Faith in 2000, Comeaux determined to apply “spiritual principles that will have a practical effect on the community at large.” As she explained, “I sincerely believe that before I can significantly effect a change spiritually [in a person], their basic needs such as food and shelter must be met.”
Employing this philosophy motivated the senior pastor of Joshua Faith to establish the outreach arm of her ministry to provide tangible resources to the disabled, unhoused and underserved individuals of all ages. Also, the non-denominational program will soon open the Joshua Faith Crisis Center to aid people with mental health difficulties, both in person, via phone or online.

Not only has Pastor Comeaux uplifted those in need throughout the Anaheim metropolitan area, but witnessing her faith in action inspired her son, Assistant Pastor Jade Comeaux, to join Dr. Janice in serving the needs of people.
“My mother is a great inspiration to me. She’s a community activist, helping others and fighting inequalities in the African American culture,” said Rev. Jade. “It is the mission of Dr. Janice Comeaux to help you explore your relationship with God and improve those meaningful relationships in your family life.”
Echoing those sentiments, Rev. Dr. Janice remarked, “I love serving Jesus Christ and helping His people and preaching the word of God and winning souls for the Lord.”
As for the near future, Rev. Dr. Janice and Rev. Jade are preparing to host prayer summits in Los Angeles and Fullerton. Plans in the next five years call for expanding Joshua Faith Ministries and Outreach by opening a homeless shelter and vocational center in the Los Angeles area.
Whatever Dr. Janice does, she will always be guided by her favorite scripture – Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
“No matter what you go through, as long as you keep Jesus in your life, He will bring you out and bless you and make a way,” insists Rev. Dr. Janice. “All you got to do is stand on the word of God!”
