Lines wrapped around the corner of the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, October 23, as fans waited for the doors to open for CeCe Winans’ highly anticipated “Believe For It” live concert. This is Winans’ first national tour in over 10 years and stop number 15 on her 21-city tour.

“Believe for It,” produced by Kyle Lee, is Winans’ first live album. It was released on March 12, 2021, and the deluxe edition of the album was released on April 1, 2022. The album became commercially successful upon its release, debuting at number one on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums Chart and number three on the Top Christian Albums Chart in the United States.

The multiple Grammy Award-winning Winans is known as the most awarded female gospel singer with three GMA Dove Awards, 16 Stellar Awards, seven NAACP Image Awards, and many other awards and honors to her credit. She is considered to be one of the greatest gospel artists of all time.

She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a staggering 17 million certified record sales, and over 19 million estimated total sales as a solo artist, yet she still exudes peace, love, and an unusual sense of balance, as she clearly focuses her attention on the main thing, which is genuinely loving God, her family and loving people.

Another thing that stands out about Winans is that she is clearly comfortable in her own skin and she is comfortable being who she is, the one and only CeCe Winans.

Transparent Productions, one of the largest producers of Christian concerts, tours, and festivals across the U.S., did a great job of organizing and promoting the concert, which was sponsored by Compassion International, an organization that helps transform lives for the better by connecting sponsors to children and families in need.

As Winans came to the stage, everyone who could stand stood up without being asked to. During the concert, fans sang along to every song. The auditorium was filled with joyful people of all ages, races, denominations, and backgrounds.

The full band of musicians and the background vocalists were second to none. Love, compassion, and a focus on drawing people to God filled the atmosphere as worship went forth from the stage to the audience, and from the audience to the stage.

Psalmist Izacc (Cogicboy) Dorn said, “The concert has been incredibly amazing. One of my favorite things about her is her sincerity. There is nobody like CeCe.

“This is my third CeCe Concert, and I can honestly say that she sounds the same as she did when I first saw her back when I was about 10 years old. It’s like they put her voice in a time capsule. She is so anointed, and the musicians are amazing too. CeCe Winans has aged beautifully, and I’m glad to be here.” stated Dorn.

Brian and Krystal Bradley were happy to be in attendance too. Krystal said, “Wow! What a beautiful night to be blessed by the legendary CeCe Winans! The concert was exceptional, anointed and so enjoyable! It was so wonderful to see so many people in LA worshiping and praising Jesus. What an honor to be in the presence of such a legend! Thank you, CeCe, for creating the atmosphere for us to receive a miracle from God.”

Krystal’s husband, professional actor Brian Bradley, said, “It was so refreshing to see someone who has been in the game for decades! CeCe was bringing the fire like it was her first time on stage! She truly represents Jesus to the absolute fullest.”

Lady Stephanie Fletcher, who received tickets to her first CeCe Winans concert as an early birthday present from her sisters, said, “This woman of God was the quintessential example of how to minister at a concert. Her musical performance was so uplifting!

You could feel the passion in her warm vocals on “Believe for It” which captured everyone’s heart. So many lives were touched through her music. It was so anointed you could fill it from the floor level to the balcony. God’s presence was there.

“I liked her backup singers as they sang some of her old repertoire, like ‘Hallelujah, King of Kings,’ which brought the crowd to its feet. I was truly blessed! CeCe Winans is everything I want to be as a Christian Artist. She is an ambassador of God,” she concluded.

The CeCe Winans Believe for It concert in LA was more of a unique, fun, and meaningful worship experience than a concert. God remained at the center of the music, and the admiration, and the glory was given to Him at Winans’ Los Angeles tour stop.
