There will be many things that occur in your lifetime that will drive a big “WHY” out of your mouth. Why is this happening to me? Why am I going through this? Why did this have to happen? Why??!

Sometimes we know why because of the course of action we took, yet we still ask why. Your sins always catch up with you, often at the worst moment. Sometimes, we don’t know why because the situation wasn’t anything we created or did, it was an occurrence outside our power.

Regardless of the reason you find yourself standing on the precipice of a why, know that God is in control.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”—Isaiah 41:10

If your life is plagued with the “whys” of life: Why am I this way? Why is this my struggle? Why is this my path? Then I leave you with one of my favorite scriptures that allows God to show you His greatness, mercy and love.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”—Jeremiah 29:11
