The Brotherhood Crusade’s 2022 Pioneer of African American Achievement Award Dinner will return after a two-year hiatus.  The event will honor Dodgers MLB All Star, Mookie Betts, and feature entertainment by three-time GRAMMY® award-winning R&B hitmaker, NE-YO, on December 9, 2022, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The African American Achievement Award is a prestigious recognition presented to individuals that have made significant contributions in their industry and made an impact in the community by improving the quality of life for youth and families through education, advocacy, and community building.

“We are thrilled to present this award to Mookie Betts because he epitomizes our organization’s values and believes in taking action to improve the quality of life for those in the community,” states Charisse Bremond Weaver, president and CEO of Brotherhood Crusade.
