Retired Sergeant First Class Farron Dozier will be the guest speaker at The New Earth Christian Church (TNECC) Sunday during the 10 a.m. worship service via Zoom.  SFC Dozier, who served 24 years in the U.S. Army, now fights a spiritual war to deliver the Gospel to as many as he can, as often as he can, as well as help improve relationships between grown adults and their parents.

Dozier’s presentation is titled, “Honoring your Father and Mother.” He will share his experience of self-discovery over the past couple years as he struggled with his relationship with his father, which was based on anger he developed at the age of five. Fortunately, on his self-discovery journey, he found and started a relationship with the God of the Bible and was able to mend the relationship with his father before he passed away a few years ago.

On his journey, he has found that many individuals have or have had strained relationships with parents and he helps them to repair those bonds through forgiveness and growth.

Songs to complement Dozier’s presentation will include Dance with my father again by Luther Vandross; Grandma’s Hands by Bill Withers; Family Reunion by the O’Jays; and Wind Beneath my wings by Eddie and Gerald Levert.

Dozier, the CEO of Whatz da Count, an organization that brings awareness to Sickle Cell Trait (SCT) Disease, hosts a nightly, online radio/TV show that deals with these relationships. His show can be heard on podcasts KCAA Radio http://podcasts.kcaastreaming.com/dozier/ from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. All of his presentations are posted on his website: https://linktr.ee/farrondozier

He’s a member of the Ministry of Reconciliation Church in Harbor City, where the Rev. Jewel Jones is the pastor. In addition to his radio show, Dozier ministers to the youth and young adults at his church.
