The death and resurrection of Christ Jesus will be observed several spirit-filled services hosted by Agape Church of Los Angeles, located at Consolidated Plaza, 3725 Don Felipe Dr., in Los Angeles.

Inviting the public to attend, Bishop Craig A. Worsham, senior pastor, announced that some of L.A.’s leading ministers will headline each service.

“These Holy Week Worship opportunities are sure to inspire your soul as we reflect on the Love of God and the sacrifice of His son Jesus,” said Worsham. “Powerful preaching and singing will center and focus us on the true meaning of the Resurrection.”

The Rev. Dr. E.V. Hill II will deliver the message at the Good Friday Worship on March 30, at 12 p.m. Hill is the pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Los Angeles.

At 7 p.m., the Gospel Music Workshop of America Los Angeles Chapter will present the Daily Bread Good Friday Service. Worsham chairs the GMWA Evangelistic Ministry and the Rev. Calvin Bernard Rhone is the chapter representative. The Rev. Johnteris Tate, pastor of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, and the Rev. Dr. Melvin V. Wade, Sr., pastor emeritus of Mount Moriah and GMWA national board member, will preach.

Agape LA has designated Palm Sunday, March 25, as Friends and Family Day. Following the 11 a.m. worship service, the Taste of Agape will take place.

“The entire community can enjoy music, fun and fellowship along with delectable culinary treats prepared by Agape member, Chef Lonnell Anderson,” Worsham said.

The Holy Week activities conclude on Resurrection Sunday, April 1, with worship at 11 a.m., and Easter Brunch after the service
