The Southern California Region Annual Conference of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church will be held Sunday, August 9, through Wednesday, August 12, at Hays Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, 105121 South Central Avenue in Los Angeles.
Bishop Bobby R. Best, presiding prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District, will oversee all activities of the conference. The host is the Rev. Mark Hardin, pastor of Hays Tabernacle C.M.E. and presiding elder of the Los Angeles District. The co-host is the Rev. John D. Johnson, pastor of Calvary C.M.E. and presiding elder of the Los Angeles/San Diego District.
Worship services, business sessions, youth activities and training workshops will be held throughout the four-day event. Also, special services will highlight Holy Communion, the Women’s Missionary Society, Christian Education, youth and young adult and the pastoral appointments.
