The 52nd Anniversary and Grand Celebration is set for Sunday, March 22, at 7:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 3 p.m., at New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
“We invite the community-at-large to our grand celebration to experience the power of a growing church as we acknowledge our past, celebrate our present, and walk into our future,” said the Rev. Dr. Sonja R. Dawson, senior pastor, who will deliver the sermon at all three services.
“Our theme this year is ‘Moving Up to the Next Level’ with a scripture reference of Romans 1: 16-17. We are excited to feature NMC Worship and Arts Ministry and several guest churches to help us celebrate. Truly, this will be a day to remember!”
The celebration kicked-off on March 15 with the Pre-Anniversary Worship Service. The program honored the love, labor, and commitment of NMC members to the church.
