The Simin Hope Foundation joined forces with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for their annual holiday tradition of the Winter Wonderland & Toy Giveaway.
Thousands of children and their families attended the 10th anniversary tradition this weekend in Harvard Park in Council District 8 where they enjoyed a three-lane snow slide, a petting zoo, icee machines and more.
From actors to singers and all-star athletes, special guests included African recording artist Alik Bulan, actors Romeo Miller, Ray J, and Omar Gooding, record label owner Max Konan, Miguel Nunez Jr., Torrei Hart, former Laker champion D. J. Mbenga and more.
DJ Tye Anderson hyped the crowd as Santa Claus himself introduced the host of the festivities, Simin Hope Foundation founder Simin Hashemizadeh.

Mickey Mouse and more danced on stage as LAPD officers kicked off the event alongside Simin. As children picked out toys, performances occurred throughout the day, including songs from Izaiah Clemente and Rylin Clemente of Zae & Chae.
LAPD officers and their beautiful horses from the 77th Street Community Police Station and the Mounted Platoon joined the celebrations which took over the entire park.
