Dr. Donald R. Ware, M.D., of Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024, at the age of 75. He was a devoted Cardiologist at Brotman Medical Center, known for his exceptional care and compassion towards his patients.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fraternity and OES services will start at 6 p.m., at Angelus Funeral Home, 3875 S. Crenshaw Blvd., in Los Angeles. His homegoing celebration takes place on Wednesday, March 20, at 11 a.m., at First African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2270 S. Harvard Blvd., in Los Angeles.

Dr. Ware was a member of Phi Beta Sigma for 55 years. Also, he served as Grand Master of the Prince Hall Masonic Order from 2015 to 2018. His dedication to the principles of freemasonry was unwavering, earning him the prestigious rank of Past Most Worshipful Grand Master.

His commitment extended throughout the Masonic Order, and he also held prominent positions in several other organizations including the United Supreme Council AASR where he received the rank of Sovereign Grand Inspector General 330, the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, the Prince Hall Commandery Knights Templars, the Order of the Royal Select Masters, and the Knight York Cross of Honor.

Dr. Ware will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and leadership. His passing is deeply mourned by his family, friends, and colleagues. He will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
