Brazilian Nites presents the “18th Annual Brazilian Carnaval”, the largest Carnaval celebration on the West Coast, featuring Rio samba star, Neguinho da Beija-Flor at Fais Do-Do on February 24th, from 2pm to 6pm (Matinee), 8pm to 2am (Evening Performance) at Café Club Fais Do-Do located at 5257 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016. Led by LA’s community drumming group, Samba da Mudança, attendees are also invited to join high-energy drum circles sponsored by REMO. Attractions also include KPFK radio host DJ Potira, with an eclectic set of Brazilian music, and BatukAxe presenting samba reggae and Olodum-style performance. The celebration continues with authentic Brazilian food and drinks, and a marketplace at the venue’s patio.
