729 BEaUty captures the allure of the texture of a conscious woman. More than a hair care company, it’s a lifestyle adopted by those who subscribe to beauty being defined by uniqueness. An individual spirit expressed by cut, color or even hair extensions. The BE U in 729 BEaUty is at the very core of how this beauty brand operates.
From its inception, sisters and co-founders Rhonda and Michelle Smith have sought to make their luxury brand embrace the distinct textures of their clientele. Based on an innovative process known as texture mapping, master stylists – led by 729 BEaUty Creative Director and Managing Partner Sadou Brown – are able to determine the density, structure and elasticity of a person’s unique hair composition. This analysis allows clients to be assigned a number that corresponds to one of three core hair types: 7 (straight), 2 (wavy) or 9 (curly coily).
Nestled within the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza located in the niche SOLA (formerly known as South Los Angeles) community, the salon offers an luxury experience for their clients while providing a supportive and artistic environment for up-and-coming stylists.
In addition to services ranging from basic consultation to hair extension installation, 729 BEaUty offers a VIP Membership program where clients receive additional savings on products and services.
Like the textured hair we service, our commitment to our clients has no point of origin and therefore has no boundaries.
729 BEaUty will be a part of the Taste of Beauty Pavilion at the 10th Anniversary of the Taste of Soul Family Festival Saturday, October 17. The salon joins celebrity hairstylists Neeko, Kim Kimble, Patric Bradley and DaRico Jackson.
