Bishop Edward Smith and The Association of Zoe Christian Fellowship Ministries International will honor Bishop Frank L. Stewart on Friday, August 12, at 7:30 p.m.
“This celebration will honor him for his many years of dedicated and faithful ministry to the Lord and God’s people,” said a spokesperson. A reception will follow the service.
Bishop Stewart is founder and Pastor of Zoe Christian Fellowship of Los Angeles, a ministry that began in 1984. In 1997, he founded the Zoe Christian Fellowship Ministries International as a primary vehicle for planting churches.
Prior to becoming pastor of Zoe of L.A., Bishop Stewart served as assistant pastor at Mount Olive Church of God in Christ and Crenshaw Christian Center. He also traveled the nation and overseas as a full-time evangelist.
“This will be a time of celebration, joy, praise and worship with special acknowledgements from all who have played a vital role and been touched by Bishop Stewart’s ministry,” added the spokesperson.
