Woman Fatally Shot In South Los Angeles

Authorities today identified a woman who was shot and killed in South Los Angeles. 

Police responding to a shots fired call around 10 p.m. Monday in the 4000 block of Dalton Avenue found the wounded woman, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations office. 

Donniesha Gregory, 32, of Los Angeles died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office. 


No arrests were reported, and no description was available of the suspect or suspects. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call (877) LAPD-247.
