Price Chapel AME Church plans their Summer Revival starting Wednesday, June 14, through Friday, June 16, at 7 p.m., in their edifice located at 4000 West Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles.

According to Pastor Benjamin Hollins, three ministers will expound on the theme, “A Revival of Hope: Spiritual Renewal in the Valley of Dry Bones.” The scriptural reference is Ezekiel 37:1-14.

“Everyone seeking to revitalize their relationship with the Lord should attend these services and hear powerful, Christ-centered messages by the Rev. Darryl Walker, the Rev. Rosalynn Brookins and the Rev. Joyce Kitchen,” said Hollins.

Walker is the pastor of New Philadelphia AME Church, Brookins leads Walker Temple AME Church and Kitchen heads Emmanuel H.M. Turner AME Church.

Walker, who will preach on Thursday, June 15, led several AME churches before his appointment to New Philadelphia in 2010. A native of Denver, CO, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology and Master’s of Divinity degree. His community service includes being a member of the executive boards of the NAACP, the Black Health Care Coalition, the Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa, Inc. in Washington, DC, and CEO of the Henry McNeal Turner Early Learning Center in Oxon Hills, MD.
