Tina Turner’s Son Dead In Apparent Suicide

The 59-year-old firstborn son of singer Tina Turner was found dead today in his Studio City home from what was believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Craig Raymond Turner was pronounced dead about 12:35 p.m. in the 4300 block of Troost Avenue, according coroner’s Deputy Chief Ed Winter. He said an autopsy was pending.

According to TMZ, Craig Turner worked in real estate in the San Fernando Valley and his biological father was saxophonist Raymond Hill, who performed in the late Ike Turner’s band Kings of Rhythm.


Ike Turner adopted him after he and Tina Turner got married.

Tina Turner, who was 18 years old when the first of her two sons was born, lives in Switzerland. She is currently traveling to Paris for Fashion Week events, TMZ reported.
