Newsom Signs Smallwood-Cuevas’ Bill Package Protecting California’s Working Families

Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill package on Oct. 8, introduced by Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas (D-Los Angeles) that will provide greater protections for California’s working families while also removing barriers for eligible individuals who seek to rebuild their lives.
