Reminiscent of pre-pandemic events, the Tuskegee Room of the Proud Bird Event Center was filled to capacity for a brunch hosted by Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary and Inglewood Park Cemetery. The gathering was held to honor and recognize ministers’ wives and ministers’ widows (MWMW) throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Over 100-Year-Old Iconic Landmark at Inglewood Park Cemetery Re-Opens

After six years of major renovations and seismic retrofitting, the iconic landmark at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Grace Chapel was re-opened on Monday. The historic Grace Chapel was built in the early days of the cemetery. Its completion was announced in the Los Angeles Daily Times on Oct. 30, 1907 and reported to be a ¾ replica of a church in Edinburgh, Scotland.
