The Los Angeles Sentinel extends best wishes to Rev. William Turner of New Revelations Baptist Church in Pasadena on the occasion of his 77th birthday. The Sentinel also salutes Bishop Charles E. Blake of West Angeles Church of God in Christ on his 75th birthday. Bishop Blake’s celebration service, open to the public, will be held on July 31, at 7 p.m., at West Angeles Cathedral, 3600 South Crenshaw Avenue in Los Angeles. Pastor Rick Warren, author of ‘The Purpose Driven Life,’ will be the keynote speaker.
