Many of us are familiar with Gayle King, but we usually think of her as Oprah’s bestie.  A few years ago, while attending the California Women’s Conference when Maria Shriver was California’s First Lady and the leader of the conference, I was given a chance to go back stage and meet Ms. King. I found her very approachable and friendly.  It was a short encounter, but enough time to leave a positive impression on me. Although Gayle has a strong personality and she has accomplished many things during her career, I think some people can under estimate her because of her relationship with Oprah, but don’t sleep on her because she is a queen.

A man who said he was cleaning out an old videotape collection found what he thought was a recording of R&B singer R. Kelly in concert, but instead turned out to show a man who appeared to be Kelly sexually abusing girls, he and his attorney said Sunday.

Kelly’s attorney has entered a not guilty plea on his client’s behalf to multiple charges of criminal sexual abuse. Kelly appeared in a Chicago courtroom Monday for his arraignment with defense attorney Steve Greenberg. Kelly’s next court date has been scheduled for March 22. Kelly is charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four females, including three who were underage when prosecutors allege that the abuse occurred.
