Green The Church Holds Virtual Summit on Environmental Justice

The Most Rev. Michael Curry, the Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, the Rev. Dr. Jacqueline A. Thompson and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan are among the speakers participating in the Green The Church Virtual National Summit. The seventh annual gathering takes place on Sunday, October 10, through Wednesday, October 13. This year’s summit titled, Green Lessons From Black Wall Street, will serve as a call to action to Black churches, their local communities and faith leaders to address infrastructure, agriculture, energy, and equity needs with an emphasis on protecting health, building wealth, and providing resources to Black communities across the country.
