Local Clergy Share Christmas Wishes for Black Community

As the celebration of the birth of Christ nears, the Sentinel surveyed several local clergy for their replies to the question: What are one-to-two Christmas wishes that you would extend to the L.A.-area African American community and why? New Antioch COGIC Hosts Christmas Celebrations

New Antioch COGIC Plans Pre-Thanksgiving Community Feast

New Antioch Church of God in Christ will host its third “Pre-Thanksgiving Community Feast” on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The meal is an annual celebration with free food, music and an opportunity to further build relationships with those in the community. The congregation will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal as part of their mission to offer ministries that serve and benefit the entire community and share the love of God.
