Holman United Methodist Church will host “Women Rising: Organizing Power for the Advancement and Achievement of Racial Justice, Gender Equality and Economic Equity” on Saturday, March 31, at 9 a.m., on its campus located at 3320 W. In light of the myriad of issues affecting African Americans across the nation, Holman United Methodist Church will host a public viewing of the U.S. presidential debate on Sept. 26, followed by a panel discussion featuring L.A. community leaders.
