On June 6, the Los Angeles County Health Department and Los Angeles City Code Enforcement began conducting the inspection of the 425-unit Chesapeake Apartment complex, located on Obama Blvd. in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area.
According to medical doctors, the United States is currently dealing with a new strain of the virus, the Delta variant, which is more lethal and virulent than previous strains. The Delta variant originated in India towards the end of last year and was first identified in America in March.
Los Angeles County reported 1,224 new cases of COVID-19 and 23 additional deaths today, bringing the county’s totals to 311,745 cases and 7,097 fatalities.
