Authorities ID Man Killed in Compton Shooting; Investigation Continuing

Awki Wilds, 41, of Compton died at a hospital after being wounded about 11:35 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Castlegate Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and sheriff’s department.
