The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the signing of guard Kianna Smith to a 7-Day contract. The Sparks are signing Smith after being granted a hardship exception. Smith will be available for today’s game at Crypto.com Arena against the Phoenix Mercury at 4 p.m. PT on ESPN. The Sparks drafted Smith out of Louisville in the second round of the 2022 WNBA Draft at No. 16 overall. She was waived prior to the regular season, after appearing in both Sparks preseason games.
